Nairobi Story

Our Nairobi story is fun!

Welcome to Nairobi! Jambo Kenya!

Day 1

The moment we landed, the tropical air embraced us — warm breeze, honking cars, Swahili chatter, color, and chaos all around.

Our partners greeted us at the airport and transferred us to the Westlands business district, one of Nairobi’s safest and most modern areas.

Our room at PrideInn Westlands Luxury Boutique Hotel 4★ was elegant and spotless. Excellent service and genuine smiles.
After breakfast and a short rest, we enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch on the terrace — a rich mix of Kenyan and international flavors.

In the afternoon, we drove about 30 km outside the city to visit a tea plantation in Limuru.
Nairobi is full of contrasts — sleek skyscrapers and trendy cafés on one side, and street markets bursting with raw life on the other.

At Ridge Cabin Resort 4★, a brand-new luxury retreat opened in 2025, we taste the comfort and the high service, in contract with the life we just sow minutes ago on the streets.

We learned that tea pickers earn just $1 per basket, while we happily pay double that for a cup! Life’s little ironies.

A short walk among the bright green hills was the perfect detox before lunch in the garden. A photo to remember!

We are heading back to the bustling city for dinner at PrideInn Westlands Luxury Boutique Hotel 4★.

Dinner with the hotel’s General Manager, Prakash, turned into a joyful cultural exchange about travel, India, and hospitality — and of course, a fun photo at the end!

Day 2

Though short, this Nairobi trip reminded us how much there is to explore.

First, we see the city from above!
It’s a must to go up in KICC Tower, 32 stories high, to enjoy the city in a 360 degrees view.

We blend in the city life, also enter a beautiful catholic church.

there is no real feeling if you don’t walk in the city, among the locals, to buy some baby bananas from the street vendors…

We could take the bus around… but! we travel in comfort, we have our own transfer and guide.

Then we stop for a quick photo in the office of our local partner.
They are the team responsible for all the tours we book for Kenya! from Nairobi to the safaris and beach holidays, they are the ones we trust!

It’s time to feed the giraffes.

The Giraffe Centre is a wildlife conservation located in Lang’ata, approximately 20 km from the centre of Nairobi.
It was such a joy to feed a Rothschild’s giraffe!! This beautiful animal is found only in the grasslands of East Africa.

We return to the busy city center to enjoy lunch at downtown Sarova Stanley 5★, the buffet is reach and tasty.
The setting was great, with a very nice warm light over us!

Now we need some spa pampering in Movenpick  Spa, after all that walking around.
Here we have a talk about the way 5* service can be felt, under the care of well trained therapists.

We end the day sipping cocktails with a city view at The View, to see the city from the 24th floor of Mövenpick Hotel 5*.

I love it!
The rotative bar and 360 degrees view of Nairobi by night.

Day 3

No we leave Nairobi.
We continue to Masai Mara for a safari or to the coast for a beach relaxing stay.

We chose to embark the safari 4×4 vehicles to experience a wild safari in Masai Mara, the best park in Kenya.

Next, follow us here for the our Masai Mara Safari true story, as we have enjoyed it.

Here you can check-out an itinerary proposal build up for you:
Magical Kenya
Nairobi + Lake Nakuru + Lake Naivasha + Masai
Mara Safari

*
Or, you can glue Nairobi to your beach destination, Mombasa or even Zanzibar.

Your itinerary would include an outbound flight from Bucharest to Nairobi and a return flight from Zanzibar back to Bucharest.
Qatar Airways or Turkish make this combination possible, offering a single ticket with a convenient stopover in Doha—both on the way to Nairobi and on the way back from Zanzibar.

Here you see our story in Zanzibar.

If you’re dreaming of a journey that combines adventure, nature, culture, and relaxation, Kenya is the perfect choice.
It’s not just a trip — it’s an experience that changes how you see the world.

Join us and feel the real Africa.
